Prohibited Goods

There are items which, for security or legal reasons, may not be carried by Frost Couriers. The following items and goods are not allowed to ship.

  • Dangerous Good including dangerous goods in limited and excepted quantity*

  • Consignments which might be a hazard to human beings or other property.

  • Living or dead animals and insects

  • Gold, silver, valuable jewelry, and bells

  • Precious metals, precious stones, industrial diamonds

  • Currency, cash, coins, banknotes, securities, passports, other negotiable documents or valid documents of title

  • Credit or bank cards

  • All forms of weapons, imitations of weapons, including air guns and soft air guns

  • Alcoholic drinks and tobacco

  • All forms of drug-based preparations, prescription-only and non-prescription

  • Narcotics and drugs

  • Human remains, including ashes

  • Live plants, fresh produce

  • Priceless objects, antiques, art objects, collector's items

  • Pornographic material

  • Pirated copies and forgeries

  • Unlawful merchandise such as ivory, furs, and animal products from endangered species

*The Sender is legally responsible to ensure that the goods that will be shipped is not classified as dangerous goods according to the regulations for dangerous goods.

What is dangerous goods:
Dangerous goods is substances and subjects that because of its chemical or physical characteristics can cause harm on life, health, environment or property during transport. Dangerous goods can for example have explosive, flammable, toxic, infectious, corrosive or environmental hazardous characteristics.

Examples of dangerous goods are:
Petroleum, diesel, fireworks, batteries of different kind with acid or lithium, all types of spray cans with propellant (hairspray, spray paint, lubricants and so on), cleaning fluids, paint, ammunition, glue, perfume, lighters, matches and different kinds of alcohols.

Observe that electronic devices as tools, computers, cell phones and tablets often contain lithium batteries or have lithium batteries in the package.

Dangerous goods are not limited to the examples above. Other goods may also be prohibited to send.

Keep in mind that it is your responsibility as the shipper to always ensure that the content of your parcel is acceptable and does not violate any law or regulation. Frost Courier is not liable for parcels with prohibited content.

Frost Courier has the right to open and investigate all parcels without prior notification to the sender, according to Frost Couriers  Terms and Conditions. Frost Courier reserves the right to decide whether the content can be transported safely and legally.
